Not been on here in years but recently found out that someone who posted on here and contributed loads to the site has passed away.

Really sad, helped me with so many IDs and was encyclopedic with his knowledge.
Glad the forum is still here in some form and hope everyone is doing OK.

Just dropping by to say hello. I was a regular here from late 90s through to 2010ish. First time I’ve logged in for well over 10 years. I’m not quite sure what I expected to find (maybe Coolbreeze sitting in a corner talking to himself 
) but it’s sad to see the forum so quiet. I guess all good things must come to an end. It’s a pity as I’ve just recently dusted off my decks and started buying vinyl again after a 15 year break. There’s so many represses and so much new music being released it’s difficult to keep up. It seems like the scene is healthier than ever but sadly it looks like forums are a thing of the past. Would be great to have somewhere to chat to other old skool heads. I guess it’s all moved over to Facebook these days, but I don’t really like using FB for a multitude of reasons.
Anyhow, big up to all the old crew, DJ Abo, Champion Puffa, Meatpie, Jedi, Elusive, Stu Chapman, DJ Nee, RenegadeGenius and many many others. If anyone would like to connect on social media send me a PM, is that still a thing? , oh man I feel old, if not reply here or something

Matt - Does it still cost you each year?
Yep, but it's now on cheaper hosting package as the traffic just isn't there (and I suppose in the 15 years since it's peak, the servers have got faster anyway)
Great to see the site still up and running. Pop my head in now and then hoping to discover a track that I have forgotten about!
Great resource in the early days of trying to hunt tracks down along with HWND.
Not a huge poster here - I think my only claim to fame was ID'ing - High Lonesome Sound System - Champion Sound!!

Nice to know B2VOS is still going. The music we know and love is still going strong, but I think the new generation don't use websites, all about social media now...
There can't be many unknown tracks that require IDing now though...
Pretty much every sought after track has been reissued on vinyl now!
...to think, the music we love is approx 30 years old now!!!

Nice to see you stop by! Yes sadly forums have taken a hit from social media, but there's still plenty of discussion about old skool on Facebook etc, and you might be surprised to hear that 'new old skool' is probably more popular now than it ever has been, there's loads of vinyl coming out again

Hi there! Hope your doing well
No sadly Ive not made any tunes for a long long time now. I get the urge from time to time but seeing as the last DAW I touched was Cubase 5...well... its a bit of a learning curve to even catch up. No idea even is Cubase still the best option.
Definitely miss making stuff though. Still got a lot of my old bits as mp3 only. No idea where all the Cubase stuff went. Family's pretty much grown up now so maybe I will be able to find some more time and get back into it.
Going to take some time over the weekend and check out some of the new stuff.

Well even if you are just fighting spam, nice job for keeping this site up for so long. Theres not many people sitting on a 20 year old domain with no drops these days.
Its a shame its so quiet but I suppose its all been said and done by now. Its crazy to think new school old school tunes from 2001 are now older than the original hardcore tunes were back then.
Just an idea, but perhaps you could make some kind of oldskool webring or something that'll bring em in

Hardly use it myself now days, still here though, deleting the spam accounts. You old one should have still worked, assuming you could still reset the password. Can see people registered from 2001 still logging in this year.
