Isn't it available as an ebook?Traffic Cone wrote:i think it is the sort of book i would probably want to read again...so happy to pass it on to people once i've read it, but if they would send it back to me afterwards? b2vos virtual library!
For me, it's a definite keeper of a book. Plus I have the naked cover and it's signed inside, so I don't think I'm gonna part with mine.

Mine or should i say tc's now is not singed and not the naked cover (sounds horrific) its the 2nd edition, better one i think people say.
I never read a book twice so there is no point in keeping it plus my mates don't want it so i thought id share the wealth on here as im sure it will be enjoyed again

No probs sending back when I'm done after you're done or if anyone has an ebook/pdf edition (unlikely) that's fine :)Traffic Cone wrote:i think it is the sort of book i would probably want to read again...so happy to pass it on to people once i've read it, but if they would send it back to me afterwards? b2vos virtual library!
Re: Christopher Howell (luna-c) book
I finally read this while on holiday, I bought it in digital format a couple of years ago but never got around to reading it (you can buy it HERE.)
I really enjoyed it, it's a great insight in to the scene back then, I particularly like his honesty about shady characters (some of which I have experienced first hand myself) and his honesty about himself making mistakes and bad decisions. Sounds like it was a few years of real ups and downs.
There is one thing in the book I think may be wrong - it says there were initially 500 promos of Sesame's Treet pressed on Boogie Times before it went on Sub Base, but the Discogs page for Boogie Times has no reference to it, and as a bit of a Sub Base geek I've certainly never seen it. Perhaps he was referring to this pressing?

But this has a Sub Base cat number.

Well based on my own interactions with various people in the book, his judgement of character (both good and bad) is pretty spot on IMO

Loved this book, even if he did screw up my name in the shoutouts and call me devil or devul or something :)
