Re: Omer & Crooks - Grand Piano EP

The release after this has this stashed away on the B side which I also think is a great track.

Where does that loop come from originally, anyone know?

33 defo, the kicks and hats are way too pitched at 45.

What a weird 12, I like it though!

Re: Ratty one more set?

Yeah I saw this yesterday. Was nosing on his brothers page while I was at it! If it is for real I would have to go, I would like to think he would put on a great final show. I'm sure he could fill up one of the big clubs in Brum, in a way it would be cool if it was in a smaller club with a sweatbox ...

Re: Awesome Formation Tunes...

One of the best there was! So many releases. Have collected the majority of mine over the last few years, there were a lot pressed so can find very nice copies with a bit of patience. Like Nebkins says the artwork and sleeves is fantastic. I recently saw some pics online from the shop in 93, with tr...

Re: Reinforced box Set

I bagged one, no idea why got caught up in the hype! Feeling a bit foolish as can see them putting more up for sale, not sure if they are being sneaky or whether it's people that have bought it and payments bounced.

I wonder whether I have subconsciously tuned it out after hearing it so many times! Had that one since 93 and it's a personal fave, will never look at it in the same way again :'(

Re: Reinforced box Set

Wow! I had decided I was going to give it a miss but found myself drawn to the site but it had gone.

I'll try again but leave it to fate, won't lose any sleep if I miss out (can't really afford it right now!)

That Big Bad Head 12 is £100 these days, definitely way out of tune though!

Yeah Les Dawson was very funny, there must be an art in picking those notes that make you cringe! Would like to hear him playing seriously as he was clearly a talented pianist.

I think we need to balance things up a bit with a counter thread to celebrate the good Formation tracks, there are so many.
